He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Baker and Fannie Irene Baker; his wife Bertha L. Trexler; his children, Brenda Brown, Amilia "Jan" Robertson, Jeff Baker and Scott Baker; and his siblings, Mildred Baker, Jessie Baker Adams, Leona Baker Studdards, Betty Baker Phillips, Odell Baker and James Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Luci Sampson of St Petersburg, FL, Pat Lovell of Anna, IL, Kim Gentry of Cape Girardeau, MO, Mike Baker of Wisconsin and Brian Baker of Jonesboro, IL. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
