He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Andrew Wagner (Megan) and Stephen Wagner; his parents, Andrew Wagner and Julie Wagner; his grandchildren, Liam and Libby; his siblings, Michael Wagner (Trish), Maryann Muzzillo (Jim) and Andrew Wagner; and his brothers-in-law, Anthony Sabatino (late Claudia) and Dino Sabatino (Dina).

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (1101 23rd Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church (1101 23rd Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160).
