He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Duncan and Edna Lorene Sheffer (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Margie Sheffer; his children, Tracy Rendleman and Robbie Lannom (Becky); his grandchildren, Jamie Astin (Paige), Colton Lannom and Carter Lannom; his great grandchild Britton Astin; and his siblings, Dixie Miller (Jerry), Marilyn Neisclein (Richard) and Steve Sheffer (Bobbie).
