Leona G. Wright Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona G. Wright of Anna, Illinois, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvil Brown and Maggie Brown (Smiddy); her husband Melvin Wright; her children, Gary Wright and Jerri Pazdzior; and her grandson David Pope.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry Luebke and Donna Pope; her grandchildren, April Luebke, Paul Suits (Alison), Jennifer Pope, Timothy Pope, Michelle Wright, Nick Wright, Jamie Wright, Maggie Wright, Tony Bish (Kelly), Crystal Morris (Shawn) and Tasha Anis (J. R.); and her brothers, Gerald Brown and Rocky Brown. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle (505 W Mississippi St, Jonesboro, IL 62952). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Jonesboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle.
