Larry Basler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, at the age of 82, Larry Basler of Anna, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Basler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Charles and Vivian Irene Basler (Hill); his son Delaine Alan Basler; his granddaughter Alexis Jean Hartsock; and his siblings, Hank Basler, Joan Ayers and Judy Gunn.
He is survived by: his wife Carleen; his children, Tina Riggs of Leesburg, FL, Letha Schluterbush (Darren) of Redmond, OR, Karl Basler (Shannon) of Anna and Melinda Gulley (JR) of Anna; his sister Jane Cerney (Don) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Tabitha Sparkman, Sarah Williams, Jonathon Marks, Jessica Adams, Sam Harmon, Vicki Coles, Larry Basler, Daniela Basler, Jakob Basler, Amanda Basler, Jordan Basler, Skie Basler, Allison McCann, Ashley Hartsock, Taylor Krout and Nicholas Harfst; and also Terri Harfst (Kyle) of Mahomet. He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (301 W Spring St, Anna, IL 62906). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Anna Moose Lodge #1346 and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
