John Joseph Ligon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Joseph Ligon of Anna, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl and Ruby Charllean Jungers Ligon; and his wife Louise Ligon. He is survived by: his children, Joni Yates (Don) of Anna, John P. Ligon (Cheryl) of Anna and Lisa Skelton (Donald) of Anna; his grandchildren, Andy Yates, Bethany Waters, James Yates (Becca), Natalie Ellis (Nick), Carrie Davis (Christian), John Michael Ligon, Stefan Skelton (Kristen), Nick Skelton and Amber Filbeck (Aaron); and his siblings, James Ligon (Kim) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Jean Hall (Herb) of Anna. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
