The memory of Jerrie T. Clayton of Anna, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Everett and Pearl Clayton (Smith); his wife Marie Clayton; and his siblings, Viola Hankla, Loretta Harris, Geraldine Elkins and Dennis Clayton.
He is survived by: his daughter Ramona Ralls (Richard); his granddaughters, Heather Hileman (Dusty) and Jessica Ralls (Ryan Tellor); his great grandchild Gracie Hileman; and his siblings, Louise Smith-Pender (Art), Vurtis Duckworth (Jim) and Carolyn Bird. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (301 W Spring St, Anna, IL 62906). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Campground Cemetery Campground (608 E Davie St, Anna, IL 62906).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or the Union County Animal Control.
