We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Janis J. Smith of Anna, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Alexander and Lorene Alexander (Wright); her husband Clarence Smith; her grandson Joseph A. Smith; and her nephew Ken Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Stadelbacher (Alan) of Anna and Gregg Smith (Anna) of Maryville; her grandchildren, Lukas A., Tanner M. Stadelbacher and Payton Jeene Smith; and her brother James Alexander (Marcia). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (301 W Spring St, Anna, IL 62906). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Anna Cemetery (608 E Davie St, Anna, IL 62906).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
