It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Hammer (Anna, Illinois), who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Edward and Martha Elizabeth Hammer (Winters); and his son Steven. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Anita (Dale), Bonnie, Jim (Tonya), Mark (Allison) and Matthew; his grandchildren, Nick (Laura), Jon, Tony (Carlyn), Jessica (Sean), Emily (David), Jenna (Ethan), Liz, Gabe, Keagan, Brentley, Lilliana, Journee, Noah, Kathryn and Samuel; his great grandchildren, Anderson, Benson and Hayden; and his siblings, Mike (Ellen Kay), Ed (Michelle), David (Angie) and Darlene (Johnnie). He is also survived by his family and spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
