Daric left this world on December 14, 2024 at the age of 48, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Allen and Judy Kay Smith (Jackson); and his grandparents, John and Lillie Smith. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Smith; his children, Haleigh Lawrence, Emily Lawrence (Elijah Haar), Aislynne Smith (William Carwyle), Alyvia Lawrence (Jacob Hobbs), Savanah Smith, Chesney Smith, Trevor Smith and Hannah Pineau; his grandmother Pansy Jackson; his sister Ginger Bailey (Duane); and his sisters-in-law, Kim Keene (Kirk) and Missie Stratton (Lance). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church (200 Mallard Ln, Anna, IL 62906). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Anna Cemetery (608 E Davie St, Anna, IL 62906).

Memorial contributions can be made to Amanda Smith to establish a college fund for their girls.
