He is survived by: his wife Cathy McHughes of Anna; his mother Kittie Ballance Yates of Forsyth, MO; his stepchildren, Ally Reynolds and Samuel Young; and his siblings, Alan Yates (Misty) of Cobden and Cynthia Anderson (Robert) of Hewitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
