He was predeceased by: his parents, Ual Kohler and Flora Kohler (Schlichting); his spouse Jean K. Coats; his parents-in-law, Agnes and Herbert Coats; and his brother Eugene Kohler.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Kohler (Sandy), Kelly Boyd (Shane) and Nicole Evans (Barry); his grandchildren, Nedom Bowen (Caitlin), Amber Sturgeon (Dylan), Alyssa Pecord (Jake), Mason Watkins (Libby) and Ava Rosenthal; his great grandchildren, William, Robbie, Roxie Bowen, Sutton Sturgeon, Kolter Pecord and Crue Watkins; and his sister Geraldine Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
