With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Stegle (Anna, Illinois), born in Cobden, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Murray and Bertie Murray (Burnett); her husband James Charles Stegle; her children, Debra Stegle and James M. Stegle; and her siblings, Billy, Melvin, Charlie, Jimmy, Bobby, Donnie, Junior, Frankie Murray, Laverne Highland and Dorothy Burgess.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Stegle (Judy) of Jonesboro, Kathy Stegle of Cape Girardeau and Karen Sadler (Claude) of Anna; her grandchildren, Jason Stegle (Abbie), Codie Carver (Justin), Jodie Dillow (James), Cortnie Stewart, Josh Stegle (Ashley), Katie Rumfelt (Jared), Travis Sadler and Michael Sadler (Salina); her great grandchildren, Avery, Fletcher, Alan Mikel, Ethan, Taylor, Blake, Kylie, Caroline, Reid, Faith, Logan, Parker, Skyler, Karly, Kaia, Payton, Drake and Griffin; her great great grandchildren, Brooks, Jace, Jude, Emme and Liam; her sister Bertie Green of Birmingham, AL; and her sisters-in-law, Patsy Murray, Linda Murray, Edwina Murray, Janice Murray and Nadine Murray. She is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
