He was predeceased by: his parents, William Allen and Lanie Viola Clayton (Smith); his wife Ruthe Marie Blood; his daughter Candi Sue; and his sister Vurline Brasel.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie McReynolds (Tim) and Willy Clayton (Diane); his grandchildren, Brandi Hoehner (Brian), Travis McReynolds (TC), Hunter McReynolds (Samantha) and Fallon Millis (R. J.); his great grandchildren, Blakeley Hoehner, Bryson Hoehner, Clayton Millis, Camryn Millis and Jasper McReynolds; his sisters, Pansy Jackson (John), Frieda Brasel and Betty Jo Raney; and his close friends, Robert and Nancy Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Flowers are welcome and in Lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial donations be made to the Illinois Veterans Home Resident Benefit Fund, Anna Church of the Nazarene, and/or Mid-America Transplant Services.
