She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Houseman and Cora Ellen Houseman (Glasco); her siblings, Arthur Houseman, Don Houseman and Betty Gilbert; her grandson Lucas Pitts; and her sister-in-law Vernita Miller.
She is survived by: her husband George Fred Pitts; her children, Georgena Davis (Wendel), Sandra Clutts, Ron Pitts (Sarah) and Bruce Pitts (Berta); her grandchildren, Tina Carter (Bob), April Terbrak (Fred), Nathan Clutts (Emily), Marcus Pitts (Tara), Heath Hill (Lori) and Keely Purdue (Corey); her siblings, Judy Hall and Ed Houseman (Sherri); and her siblings-in-law, Carleen Cain and Wayne Pitts (Judy). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorials be made to Ebenezer Hall Cemetery and/or Hospice of Southern Illinois. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
