He is survived by: his wife Irene M. Redecker (King); his children, Lori Dykhaizen, Rock Falls and Lisa Hawk (Steve Schryer) of Nashville, TN; his stepchildren, Mike Redecker (Lisa), Bob Redecker (Ingrid), Ginny Brown (Ray), Viola and Victoria King (Rick Martin); his grandchildren, Tara Hamblem (Chris), Jordan Dykhuizen, Rock Falls, Brianna Dykhuizen Rock Falls (Daniel Bechtold), Jake Redecker, Des Moines, Jessica Collis (Kenny), Colton Brasmer, Viola, Brock Redecker and Joey Redecker; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey of Nashville, Paxton Hamblen of Nashville, Haley of Geneseo and McKenzie Collis of Geneseo.
