Dean Greenlee Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Greenlee of Anchor, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dean farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Greenlee and Lilas Greenlee (Kelley); his wife Mary Martin; and his daughter Betty Jean. He is survived by: his sons, David Greenlee (Judy) of Bloomington, IL, Rick Greenlee (Marj) of Bloomington, IL, Doug Greenlee (Joyce) of Bloomington, IL and John Greenlee (Rhiannon) of Tecumseh, OK; and his sister Carol Kreitzer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St Jude Children's Hospital.
