She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Yepsen and Dorothy Yepsen (Knigge); her husband Jerrell D. "JD" Long; and her brother Robert Yepsen. She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Orlando of Amboy, IL and Cynthia "Cindy" Hovey of Galesburg, IL; her grandchildren, Jason Hovey of Pekin, IL. and Tracy Connour of Knoxville, IL.; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Caylee-Jo and Brentley; and her close friend Jane.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Rock River Hospice Home.
