Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dennis Gillan of Amboy, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 62, on July 21, 2023. He is survived by: his wife Nanette Hasselman; his children, Jeff Gillan (Liza) of Spring Valley, Jessica Carls (Dale) of Ladd, Rebecca Debnar (Brad) of Plainfield, Neil Gillan (Meggie) of Arlington, Jasmine Gillan of Amboy, Andrew Gillan of Arlington and Joe Thompson (Stephanie) of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Grady, Gavin, Leo Gillan, Caden, Ty, Greyson Carls, Rosalee, Brynlee Debnar, Charlee, Mavrick Gillan, Danny and Annaliese Thompson; his brother Greg Gillan (Sally) of Peru; his nephew Gus Gillan; and his godson Devin Soldati. He is also survived by his children and spouses and all of his grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be used toward a scholarship fund in Dennis's name.
