In the sacred silence of farewell, Ann is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ann's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Ehlbeck and Dorothy Ehlbeck (Wise); and her sister Judy Hernandez. She is survived by: her husband Bob of Amboy; her children, Barb Meloy (Tyler) of Earlville and Greg Brockwell (Gina) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Delaney and Kennedy Meloy; and her sisters, Cindy Gerdes (Hank) of Amboy and Peggy Sardisco (Joey) of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
