He was predeceased by: his parents, Ennis Thornsbrough and Evelyn Thornsbrough (Hughes); his son Howard; his brothers, Wayne Thornsbrough (Bess) and Jay Thornsbrough; his brothers-in-law, Wally Stephenson, Butch Cain and George Sutton; and his granddaughter Brittany Powell.
He is survived by: his spouse Vernice Wylder; his children, Ginger Mack (Ronnie) of Covington, IN and Steve Thornsbrough (Marie) of Alvin, IL; his siblings, Shirley Stephenson of Alvin, IL, June Cain of Pittsboro, IN, Jo Lynn Sutton of Alvin, IL and David Thornsbrough (Carolyn) of Alvin, IL; his grandchildren, Brock Thornsbrough (Amie), Brad Thornsbrough (Michell) and Marcy (Martin); his grandson-in-law Paul Powell; and his great grandchildren, Lauren, Brooklyn, Nathan, Evan, Josh, Mia, Peyton, Paige, Arieal, Chian and Lanie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
