(Fortman); his daughters, Susan Cote of Tallahassee, FL and Karen Greer of Henry, IL; his grandchildren, Ellen and David Schulz of Dunlap, IL; and his siblings, Raymond Carlson, Edith Carlson, Alice Carlson and Shirley Schrodt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Ohlson (Eric) of Edelstein, IL and Kathy Schulz (Rob) of Dunlap, IL; his grandchildren, Erin Daugherty (Eric) of San Antonio, Daniel Ohlson of Peoria, IL, Michelle Ohlson of Peoria, IL, Andrew Schulz of Dunlap, IL, Ryan Cote of Tallahassee, FL, Evan Cote of Tallahassee, FL, Michael Schulz of Dunlap, IL and Steven Ohlson of Edelstein, IL; and his great grandchildren, Kai and Aiden Daugherty.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rux Funeral Homes (313 Market St, Galva, IL 61434). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Victoria United Methodist Church (102 Washington St, Victoria, IL 61485).
Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church of Victoria, the Maxey Chapel Church or to the American Heart Association.
