Canon of Altona, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald "Mutt" L. Canon and Geraldine B. Canon (Damitz); his son Patrick J. Canon of Galesburg; and his brother Gary Canon. He is survived by: his daughter Jodi White (Dwight) of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Olivia, Celia White of Galesburg, Brandon Canon (Taylor) of Rio and Kelsy Canon of Fruitland, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Adrianna, Ryder Canon and Miya Canon; and his siblings, Ronald Canon (Susan) of Galesburg, Linda Anno of Galesburg and Diane Dougherty of Sarasota, Florida..
