Schmidt of Altona, Illinois, born in Victoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Smith and Louise Smith (Rowe); her stepfather Don Stutler; her daughter Laura Payne; her daughter-in-law Emily; her brother Stuart Smith; and her stepsiblings, Dwaine Stutler, Elaine Millman, Vera Skutnick and Lila Trickle.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Schmidt of Ankeny, Mike Schmidt (Laurie) of Galva, Illinois. and Shane Schmidt (Kristy) of Galva, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Chad Schmidt, Jackie Hill, Jeremy Payne, Dustin Carlson, Samantha Schmidt and Douglas Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Evie Hill, Isabel Hill, Allisa Hill, Brylee Schmidt, Dexter Schmidt and Maislynn Schmidt; her stepgrandchildren, Chase and Rosie Howell; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon and Ellie Payne; and her sister Donna Boardman of Kewanee.
