Nelson of Altona, Illinois, born in Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell T. Kelly and Ruth E. Kelly (Hoeg); her spouses, Samuel E. Graves and Vaughn E. Nelson; her stepdaughter Angela Lane; her grandchildren, Heather Graves and James Nelson; and her sons-in-law, Jerry, Mike and Denny.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Ferrell (Danny) of Big Rock, TN, Steve Graves (Julie) of Illinois City, John Graves (Micki) of Oneida, Perry Graves (Judy) of Altona, Cindy Humes (Cary) of Galesburg, Mary Roley (Doug) of Ballwin, MO, Kristen Quinn (Joe) of Stamford, CT and Timothy Nelson of Altona; her stepchildren, Susan Nelson of Bettendorf, Nancy Sturgeon of Galesburg, Pam Dugas of Bakersfield, CA and Charles Nelson (Julie) of Galesburg; and her sisters, Kay Palmer of Cambridge and Kris Ann Smith of Galva. She is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
