She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Smith and Annie Lee Smith; her daughters, Darla and Toni Stevenson; her husband Elwood "Woody" Stevenson; and her siblings, Odessa Smith Wallace, Sylvester, Mamie Lee, Lawrence "Little Buddie" Crowder and Viola "Vi" Jackson.
She is survived by: her sons, Elwood "Steve" Stevenson (Denise) and Elton "Gene" Stevenson (Dawn); her sisters, Maxine Hughes and Gloria Mitchell (Terry); her grandchildren, La'Chaus "Scooter" Stevenson (Kelsie) of Kansas City, Tyler Stevenson of Springfield, Darian Stevenson of Syracuse, N. Y. and Lola Sumpter of Alton, IL.; her great grandchildren, Jurnee, Omnee, La'Chaus Jr., Laveah and Y'Von of Kansas City; her daughter-in-law Andrea Curlovic; and her friend Minnie Robinson.
