William Marvin Phipps Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Marvin Phipps (Alton, Illinois), who passed away on August 15, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Phipps and Ruth Phipps (Kappler); his wife Ruth Ann Droege; and his brothers, James and Charles Phipps.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Heinemann of St. Charles, MO, Mary Bower (Kenneth) of St. Louis, MO, Brian Phipps (Elizabeth) of Grafton, Matthew Phipps of Moberly, MO and Samuel Phipps of Godfrey; his brother Ronald Phipps (Chris); and his close friend Pinky. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great grandchild.
