He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon William and Violet Bell Haws (Steele); his wife Reva Fay Kepple; and his siblings, Mable Haws Hill, Leona Haws, Hazel Haws Senkoff, Oren Haws, Afton Haws Swasey, Flloyd Haws, Ivan "Reed" Haws and Elnora "Nori" Dubree.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Haws (Pam) and Glen Haws (Lori); his grandchildren, Sarah Samuelson (Haws), Jacob Haws, Sadie Haws, Gabriel Haws, Ronald Haws Jr., Samuel Haws, Ryan Haws and Seth Haws; his great grandchildren, Isaac Huntsman, Christian Samuelson, Leia Samuelson, Ruby Samuelson, Leo Samuelson, Joshua Haws, Michael Haws, Lillian Haws, Gideon Haws and Saylor Haws; and his siblings, Roy Haws, David G. Booth, Jeanette Lee Haws Miller and Leslie Lynn Haws.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Godfrey (1313 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens (10 Erwin Plegge Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010).
