It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Darlene Hantla-Henesey of Alton, Illinois, born in Litchfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick O. Hantla and Edith Hantla (Nail); and her daughter Jill Henesey. She is survived by: her husband Tom Henesey of Alton; her children, Mandy of Alton, Kurt Atkinson of Alton, Jaime of Alton, Jerry Dwiggins of Alton, Toby of Alton and Katie Henesey of Alton; her cousins, Randy and Tammy Wagahoff; and her friends, Linda Broaddus (Engleman) and Donna Wade (Fesser). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Community Christian Church or the 5 A's Animal Shelter, both in Alton.
