He is survived by: his children, Michelle Hayes of Hazelwood, MO and Michael Hayes (Selena) of East Alton; his granddaughters, Heather Copeland, Brianna Copeland and Autumn Kaiser; and his great grandchildren, Andrea Pena, Audrey Pena, Michael Pena II, Landen Copeland, Marley Echols, Melvin Neither, Serenity Echols and King Echols.
