She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar T. Reed and Lola Reed Seibold (Adams); her husband Richard Carl Herbst; her brother Oscar T.; her sister-in-law Lois Reed; her nephew Oscar T. Reed Jr.; and her niece Cindy Reed.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan (Mona) of Jonesboro, Mark (Lynette) of Sherwood and David (Kim) of Missouri; her sister Martha; and her brother-in-law Clarence Gerdt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cottage Hills.
