It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Ethelyn Harper (Alton, Illinois), born in Iola, Illinois, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Smith and Billie Smith (Burkett); her husband Gerald Harper (Mac); and her sister Genelle Finazzo. She is survived by: her cousins, Jerry Smith and Ronnie Smith (Nora); and her friend Jan Goodwin.
