We bid farewell to Steven Coryell of Alton, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 29, 2024 at the age of 58. Steven touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Elmer W. "Wimp" Coryell; his brother Dennis Coryell; and his grandparents, Edna Coryell, Donald and Virginia Neutzman.
He is survived by: his mother Sally J. Coryell (Neutzman) of Alton; his siblings, Deborah (Stephen Webb) of Godfrey and Douglas Coryell (David Finley) of Glen Carbon; his nieces, Teresa and Amanda (Adam); his nephew Matt; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Ajai, Calista, Willow, Eli and Delilah. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Paynic Home For Funerals (618 E Airline Dr, East Alton, IL 62024). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
