He is survived by: his children, Sherman "Skee" Skinner III (Angela), Brett Morris, Andrea Rice (Herbert) and Caprice Thompson; his siblings, Rosa Matthews (Dock), Marilyn Owens (Norah Jr.), Patricia Bell, Donna Hoskins (Wendell), Gerbert Ray Skinner and Jacqueline Johnson (James); his grandchildren, Brandon Morris and Riah Rice; and his great grandchild Cerys Crue. He is also survived by friends, brothers and sisters-in law, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
