She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Arthur and Dollie Marie McIntire (Miller); the father of her children Daniel Compton; her grandsons, Rickey Edward Callahan II and Joshua Matthew Compton; and her sisters, Janet McIntire and June Hays.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Compton; her daughters, Michele Brannon of Bethalto and Brandy Compton of Alton; her grandchildren, Jared Byrd, Chelseah Byrd, Cassandra Turner, Caleb Schulte (Summer), Brittani Pickett (Joe) and Eden Turner; her great grandchildren, Jayce Tuey, Makailynn Bryrd, Ashton Turner and Mabel Pickett; and her siblings, Mary Johnson, Ray McIntire, Bessie Walker, Pearl Fester, Dollie Klaas, Pat VanWalleghen, Joan McIntire, Barbara Wiley, Lloyd McIntire, Betty Finch and Virginia Ward. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including two special nephews.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
