He is survived by: his son Connor McCarthy of Hawaii; his parents, Sandra McCarthy (Masterson) of Alton and John (Jan McCarthy) of Jacksonville; his sister Mari Beth (Chris Carstens) of Alton; his nieces, Amanda (Charlie Kautz) of Nashville, TN and Abbi (AJ Dadon) of St. Louis; and his nephew Zach (Jessica Standefer) of Maryville.
