He was predeceased by: his parents, Griffin Parker and Esther Parker (Basden) of Alton; his grandparents, Russell, Lucille Parker, Jim and Lena Basden; his brother-in-law Jim Farrow; his nephew Jimmy Schneider; and his aunts and uncles, Merle, Marcella Parker, Kay, Pat Paddock, Marilyn and Dan Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Emme Murphy (Josh) of East Alton; his grandchild Jaydin Murphy; and his siblings, Cheryl Kappler (Mike) of Bethalto, Peggy Farrow of Brighton, Sheila Lanham (Rob) of Alton, Ralph Parker (Sandy) of Alton and Bobby Parker of Alton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002).
