He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Joseph and Florence Blaker (Cohen). He is survived by: his wife Dr. Catherine "Cathy" Elizabeth Roane; his grandson Rowan (Elliot Ives) of Leander, TX; his brother Alex Blaker; his niece Sabrina Blaker of Round Rock, TX.; and also, Ian and Elliot Ives.
