He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Ballard; his children, Alex Echols (Shelby Garrison), Bobby Echols and Ashley Echols (Bobby Cather); his stepchildren, Audrey Warren, Dakota (Dustin) and Dodge; and his siblings, Shane Echols, Blic Echols, Anita Kessinger (Regina), Sarah Davis (Chuck) and Carla Price. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren.
