He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Archie Lee and Hazel Mae Barnett (Farmer); his wife Leona Freda Geske; his children, Sheila Diane Bates (Brian) of Kansas City, MO and Richard Michael "Rich" Barnett Jr. (Amy) of Macomb, IL; his grandchildren, Amber Nichole Bates and Isaiah Michael Barnett (Faith); his great grandchild Theodore Michael Barnett; his siblings, Danny Barnett (Ann) of Milton, IL and Bonita Lou Reed of Arkansas; his sister-in-law Jenny Thomas of California; his brother Roger Barnett; and his brother-in-law David Reed. He was also cherished by his family, his friends.
