He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward and Violetta Geisen (Wood); his siblings, Joseph Geisen and Rosemary Niemeyer; and his grandson Alex Geisen.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph Geisen (Gina) of Alton, Shawna Zeilman (Mark) of Dittmer, MO and Greg Geisen (Kristal) of Dittmer, MO; and his siblings, Michael Geisen of Alton, Catherine Tanner of Texas and Marilyn Elick of Brighton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association.
