Hoppe; her great great grandchild Precious M. Shorter; her nephews, Ronald R. Armstead and Jesse "Stormy" Johnson; and her sister-in-law Delores Armstead.
She is survived by: her children, Paula M. Appleby and Steven D. Gleghorn; her grandchildren, Mark D. Shorter (Jermita), Helena N. Holmes (Bacardi) and Michael Barham; her great grandchildren, Mark D. Shorter Jr., Adairia Howell, DeAndre Shorter, Paulina M. Shorter and Bernadette S. Shorter; her great great grandchildren, Mekhi, Madesyn and Eli Shorter; and her nephews, William "Billy" Armstead and Donald E. Armstead. She is also survived by sons, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
