With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mickie Carolyn Boomershine (Alton, Illinois), who passed away on September 21, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ackerman and Bessie Ruth Ackerman (Drysdale); and her husband Leroy C. Boomershine. She is survived by: her daughters, Deanna Henderson of Wood River, Melissa King (Kenneth) of Alton and Carrie Freer (Tim) of Alton; her grandchildren, Dustin Hardesty, Ethan King, Devin Hardesty, Danielle Hardesty, Taylor Freer, Emily King, Derrick Hardesty and Lily Freer; her brothers, Gerald Ackerman (Melody) of Eldon, MO and Donald Ackerman (Marsha) of Greenville, IL.; and her friends, Barb and Lou Jett. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Christmas in July or Boys & Girls Club of Alton.
