She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wood and Laura Wood (Grove) of Louisville, IL; her husband Rev. William Fester (Bill); and her siblings, Paul Jr., Margaret, Barbara, Joan, Elizabeth, John and Jim.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Wood (James Sie) of Los Angeles, CA, Bradley Festen (Maria) of Northwoods, IL and Michelle Meyers (Chris) of Eureka, MO; her grandchildren, Benjamin Sie, Christina Prechter (Matthew) and Kylie Festen; her great grandchildren, Immanuel, Raphael and Salomé Prechter; and her sister Virginia Behrens of Eugene, OR..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Main Street United Methodist Church (1400 Main St, Alton, IL 62002).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for the Rev. William Fester Benevolent Fund at Asbury Village.
