It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Susan Pruitt (Alton, Illinois), who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gauf and Grace Gauf (Gleason); and her siblings, Norma Cooper, Laura Gauf, Diane Baker, Harry Gauf, Jim Gauf and George Gauf.

She is survived by: her husband Harry Pruitt; and her children, Susan Flynn (Shawn) of St. Charles, Pam Porteous of St. Charles, Ashley Calvert (James) of Wood River, Paula Haddox (Kevin) of Lafayette, LA, Angie Pruitt of Alton, Michael Gauf of Moberly, MO, Jonathan Pruitt of Eldridge, IL and Terry Pruitt of Alton. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
