She was predeceased by: her mother Ida Law; her husband Ed Newell; her sons, Brian Newell and Jeffrey Newell; and her siblings, Curtis Law and Virginia Smith.
She is survived by: her son Brad Newell (Diane) of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Shane Newell (Ashley), Adam Newell (Amy), Kyle Newell (Alyssa), Tyler Newell (Hannah), Austin Newell, Nathan Newell (Madison) and Zachary Yoder (Lindsi); and her daughter-in-law Kelli Newell-Strohmeier of Bethalto. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
