She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Hood and Leah Helen McCrary (Baird); and her brothers, Kenneth, Floyd, Wilbur, Dean and Earl.
She is survived by: her husband Philip Andrew Abromovich; her children, Andy (Karen), Elaine Kane (Bob) and Matthew (Melissa); her grandchildren, Drew, Dustin Abromovich (Manda), Adam, Grace, Sam, Anna Kane, Abby and Alyssa Abromovich; and her great grandchild Kyler Abromovich.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that friends and family consider extending a gesture of kindness to a nursing home resident in Leah's honor.
