He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Sherman and Helen L. Sherman (Cunningham); and his grandson Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Sharon S. Zullig; his children, Angela Stahlschmindt of Alton and David Sherman (Stacy) of Ft. Campbell, KY; his grandchildren, Courtney, Dakota, Arianna, Makayla, Alyssa, Jacob and Krista; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Roselyn, Loretta and Emma.
