With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Ottwell of Alton, Illinois, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of June Ottwell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McDonald and Elsie McDonald (Jones); her children-in-law, Herbert Jr. Ottwell of Wood River and Thomas Ottwell of Batchtown; her husband Herbert C. Ottwell Sr.; her brothers, Ivan, James, Ernest and Arthur; her sons, Herbert Jr. and Tom; her daughter-in-law Mary Lou; and her grandchildren, Holly, Sarah and Todd.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Mary Wilson of Roxana, Virginia Jarrett (Jerry) of Paducah, Christopher Ottwell (late Mary Lou) of Alton and Robert Ottwell (Tina) of Jerseyville. She is also survived by eight granddaughters, eleven grandsons, and several great and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
