With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Mae Shelby of Alton, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Hand and Hallie Hand (Bostick); her husband Paul L. Shelby; and her brothers, Bob and Larry Hand.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura M. Morgan of Cottage Hills and Denise R. Small (Jerald) of Alton; her grandchildren, Dustin McCann (Danielle) of Roxana and Holly Snyder (Tony) of Mason City, IL; her great grandchildren, Sophia Reese McCann, Arwen Marie Snyder and Delilah Ann Snyder; and her siblings, Richard Hand of Florida, Gloria Daves of Alton, Dolores Null of East Alton and Virginia Hausman of Godfrey.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel (10 Erwin Plegge Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010).
